Last week I commented that a few Labour councillors wanted to be able to claim travel expenses for attending Charter Trust meetings. Today we unanimously ditched the idea, including the Labour councillors who were present.  Strangely, those who had called for this were absent- perhaps on holiday, perhaps not. Anyway another victory for common sense.
