Durham Council has over £90m in reserves which could hit £100m in the next two years if Labour gets its way. It is outrageous that the Labour Party in County Durham refuses to invest more of YOUR money into boosting the economy, getting people into work, protecting services and repairing more of our roads and paths. Every year since the general election the government has given councils extra money to freeze council tax.
