On Remembrance Sunday (10th November) there will be a service at St Aidans on Framwellgate Moor Front Street commencing at 10.45am, followed by a silence at 11am. Everyone is welcome, please come along to remember all those who have died serving their country.

Members of the congregation are then invited to walk to the Memorial opposite St Cuthbert’s Avenue for the laying of Wreaths. Members of the Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade will be taking part.

Following this the 1st Framwellgate Scouts are then inviting those present to the Scout Hut at the bottom of Newcastle/North Terrace for soup and a roll. There will also be tea, coffee and biscuits available. I have made a contribution from the local members budget towards the cost for the Scouts.
